Privacy Policy

Who we are

VibeOS 11 is a customized Windows 11 image and companion tool published by Dykes Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy covers the website at vibeos.bluservices.xyz, the download host at dl.bluservices.xyz, and the VibeOS and VibeTool software. It does not cover Microsoft Windows itself, which is governed by Microsoft's own terms.

What we collect

• Download and request logs. Our CDN provider records standard request data when you load the site or download a file: IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested path, and response status. This is used for delivery, abuse prevention, and aggregate download counts.
• No accounts. The website has no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to download VibeOS.
• No telemetry from the site. The website does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade any data about you.
• We do not build advertising profiles or share data with data brokers.
• We do not attempt to identify individual users from server logs.

What VibeOS and VibeTool do on your machine

VibeOS is an operating system image. Once installed, it runs locally on your hardware. The image contains no call-home telemetry that we operate.

VibeTool is a Windows desktop utility. It may check the version manifest at dl.bluservices.xyz to tell you when an update is available. That request sends only the version check itself, not your files, usage, or machine contents. You can block that host in your firewall and the tool will still function; you simply will not be notified about updates.

Third parties involved in delivery

• Cloudflare serves the website, the CDN, and the download files. Cloudflare processes request metadata as our infrastructure provider.
• GitHub hosts our source and issue tracker. If you open an issue, GitHub's privacy policy governs that content.
• Discord hosts our community. If you join, Discord's privacy policy governs your account and messages.

Retention

CDN and CDN-adjacent request logs are retained by our provider on a short rolling window, typically under 30 days, for security and abuse purposes. Aggregate download statistics may be retained indefinitely in a form that does not identify individuals.

Your choices and rights

You can browse and download without providing any personal information. If you want us to delete log data associated with your IP address, email privacy@bobbycodes.dev with the IP address and an approximate timestamp, and we will remove what we control.

Children

VibeOS is a developer and enthusiast operating system and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS end to end. Download binaries are content-addressed and published with a version manifest so you can verify that what you downloaded is what we published. See the Terms of Service for how to verify a release.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the Discord community.
